Parkallen Community Hall IMPORTANT NOTICE There will be no hall rentals from June 24 to August 31. Any emailed hall rental inquiries will be returned in September. 
PLEASE NOTE: The Parkallen Community Hall is only available to the residents of Parkallen. Proof of residency is required. Capacity: Hall capacity is not to exceed 60 people Amenities: Kitchen including fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, tables and chairs for 60 people, men's and women's bathrooms. Rental rates: All rentals require a $400 cash damage deposit. Hourly weekday rental rates are Weekend/holiday rental rates are There are no hourly rates available on weekends/holidays.

Addition Rental Information
Additional Rental Information for Parkallen Community Hall There is to be no pinning, nailing, taping, or tacking of items to the walls. If items need to be attached to the walls, sticky tack putty should be used and removed afterwards. The entrance thermostat is set at minimum unless the hall is in use. You may adjust the entrance temperature to a maximum of 15°C during your event. The main hall thermostat (located inside the main room) is a programmed thermostat. You may adjust the room temperature according to your preference during your event. To adjust the room temperature, use ONLY the arrow buttons labeled with an ٨ or ٧ arrow until the digital display reads the temperature you would like. After your event you may either return the temperature to the original room temperature again using ONLY the arrow buttons labeled ٨ or ٧, or simply leave it and the thermostat will return itself to the default temperature at the preset time. Please do not touch any other buttons on the thermostat – it will change the default temperatures and times. Make sure you get your damage deposit back! The Parkallen Community Hall must be left in clean condition. If the hall is not cleaned properly, a cleaning fee will be assessed at the rate of $60.00 per hour or any portion thereof and will be deducted from the damage deposit. Kitchen: Ensure fridge is clean and remove any items from fridge or freezer that belong to you Ensure stove top is cleaned and free from spills Ensure microwave is clean and free from spills Countertops should be wiped clean All dishes and utensils should be washed and put away Sink and taps should be cleaned Kitchen floor should be swept and damp mopped Garbage should be bagged and sealed Replace any items used up (paper towels, garbage bags) from the hall supplies. Paper supplies are kept in the southeast storage room. Garbage bags are kept under the kitchen sink.
Main Area: Floor should be swept and damp mopped Windows and sills should be free from spills and marks Walls should be free from spills and marks All tables and chairs must be folded and stored in the storage room
Washrooms: Ensure toilets are flushed following your event
Before leaving the hall ensure all interior and exterior lights are turned off and ensure all doors are locked. Thank you.
